A not-to-be missed unique event exploring how to
begin researching LGBT Histories in the British Armed Forces and Merchant Navy.
Professional Historians will speak about their own
research within the field and discuss how you can begin your own.
There will also be a Q and A discussion with
several veterans who identity as LGBTQ.
The event is held in IWM North’s unique building
which houses IWM’s national collections from the First World War to present day
conflict.
